It’s a Futbol Sunday ripe with importance.

On this day in Loretto, the women’s title will be decided when regular season co-champions Saint Francis U and Central Connecticut square off in the NEC final at 12:00 pm ET.

The Red Flash eked out a 2-1 victory in the lone regular season meeting between the two sides only nine days ago.

This time, they’ll meet with the NEC’s automatic bid to the NCAA Women’s College Cup up for grabs.

Sunday also marks the conclusion of the NEC men’s soccer regular season with a number of important matches lining the card.

St. Francis Brooklyn, LIU Brooklyn and Saint Francis U have locked up three of the four spots in the upcoming postseason NEC Tournament, but seeding is still TBD.

The two Brooklyn schools will meet Sunday with home-field advantage for the tournament on the line.

Meanwhile, five teams, who are separated by a total of two points will play for the fourth, and final, NEC postseason berth.

The NEC’s Kyle Turner explains it all in the video below.

And, we’ll leave you with some great news… NEC Front Row will carry all of Sunday’s soccer action live.
