It was a great week for New Jersey and the sport of collegiate bowling.

The Northeast Conference welcomed eight teams to the Garden State for the NCAA Bowling Championship this past April.

The NEC hopes to do it again in 2019.

The Division I Conference has officially submitted a bid to host the 2019 event at BrunswickZone Carolier Lanes in North Brunswick, NJ.

The NCAA will be reviewing submissions during the current bid cycle that includes 83 annuals championships from 2018 through 2022.

The NEC’s bid was submitted on Friday, August 12. The NCAA is expected to narrow the list of hosts by announcing finalists in October, with a final determination of host sites to be announced in December.
