While Fairleigh Dickinson was busy beating Wagner to lock up a spot in the Big Dance, @DarraLewis was locking up a berth in the #NECselfie championship bracket.
With the @DarraLewis submission leading the way, we’ve listed the top-four #NECselfie submissions from the 2016 #NECMBB Championship Game on March 8.
Remember, eight #NECselfie submissions (6 automatic, 2 at-large) will advance to a championship bracket. The first of three rounds of championship voting will begin Wednesday, March 16 at 9:00 am ET.
If they were this happy while watching the #NECMBB Championship Game, then how happy will they be when they find out they’re a #NECselfie preliminary round winner? Also, they received bonus points for the proper use of the official #NEC16 tournament hashtag.

It’s not as impressive as Earl Potts’ performance in the Championship Game, but this is above average work from this #NECselfie taker. She coordinated her whole crew to smile and used some star power by squeezing NEC Women’s Soccer Player of the Year Rachel Hoekstra into the shot.

THIRD PLACE: @mywalkofshane
Shane is putting together an impressive body of work over the past few days. After a phenomenal still photo #NECselfie submission, he attempted to take his game to the next level with a video post!

LAST ONE OUT: @nysportsrep
We always appreciate when the old-timers take to Twitter, but, to use a baseball term, this #NECselfie has warning-track power. Look at the bright side though, you didn’t qualify for the championship bracket, but at least your Knights did.
