A win, another 100-yard rushing game, and a highlight reel run made Saturday a good one for Wagner running back Dominique Williams.
It would only get better for Williams when the South Jersey native saw himself on ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 College Football Plays.
Williams punctuated his 106-yard day by ripping off a 29-yard run on Wagner’s final scoring drive during which he hurdles a Bryant defensive back in the open field. The play came in at No. 8 on SportsCenter, an underrated ranking if you ask us considering he took off from the 39-yard line and easily cleared the defender who was waiting at the 36.

As Wagner Sports Information noted through its Twitter account, this isn’t the first time in the past 12 months a Seahawk has earned a highly-coveted spot on the SportsCenter Top 10. In fact, it was the first time a Seahawk from Bridgeton, NJ made the list.
Nearly one year ago, Wagner forward Josh Thompson garnered an enormous amount of attention for dunking over his mother, who was standing upright in front of the hoop, during Wagner’s Madness Before Midnight basketball event.
