The Northeast Conference athletic directors and President will ascend upon the league’s New Jersey-based headquarters to convene for the first time in the New Year.

The NEC ADs are scheduled to gather on Thursday, Jan. 19 with the Presidents joining the following day.

The discussion-centered meeting will include Commissioner Noreen Morris’ mid-year report as well as numerous other pertinent topics.

The group is expected to discuss NCAA-related issues, NEC Policy and Championship-related issues, and the state of the NEC Strategic Plan.

Overtime! will bring you reaction from the meetings, including video interviews.

In the meantime, here’s is a wrapup from the NEC’s October Administrative meetings…

In women’s hoops news, Sacred Heart’s weekend sweep through the Keystone State has resulted in a surge up the rankings in the latest edition of the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll.  Ed Swanson’s Pioneers jumped from to the No. 21 spot to No. 16 after posting road wins over Robert Morris and defending NEC champion Saint Francis (PA).

Robert Morris has appeared in earlier editions of the poll, and received 12 votes this time around.

Meanwhile, LIU Brooklyn is on the cusp of cracking the Top 25, sitting atop all teams in the “receiving votes” category.
