In other news, Bryant football has received some postseason recognition of late.  First, reigning NEC Offensive Player of the Year Jordan Brown found himself in a ninth-place finish in the final voting for the Sports Network’s Walter Payton award, an honor bestowed upon the top player in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA).  View voting results.  Days later, senior tight end Matt Tracey, who edged out Robert Morris’ preseason All-American Shadrae King for first team all-NEC honors, earned the Elite Tight End Award from College Football Performance Awards

CFPA interviewed Tracey after bestowing the honor upon him.
