A bold, fresh new look is about to hit  The NEC has finalized plans to relaunch its website on Wednesday, October 26.

The redesign and subsequent relaunch of is an attempt at enhancing the multimedia experience for fans and followers of the NCAA Division I athletic conference now in its 31st year of operation.

Visitors to the new site will be met with a sleek, appealing design and increased functionality throughout.

With a brand new interface and content management system, the site will bring visitors within one click of video content, photo galleries, an Athlete of the Week showcase, and much more.  The homepage will feature a live scrolling Twitter feed along with links to all of the conference’s social media platforms.

Overtime! was able to track down NEC Commissioner Noreen Morris (follow her on Twitter – @NECcommish) for a comment on the new site set for launch in fewer than 24 hours.

“The redesign of our website comes at a very exciting time for the NEC as we implement cutting-edge technology that allows us to integrate our traditional and social media platforms.  The new site provides an extremely user-friendly, interactive and high-quality online experience for the NEC membership and its fans.”
