From its start in the old gym on Fairleigh Dickinson’s Rutherford campus to its current location in Somerset, NJ, Northeast Conference headquarters has received a number of upgrades and enhancements throughout the years.
Over the past few weeks, Kevin Sanchez, the NEC’s assistant director for events and operations, has been working to bring another addition to the conference’s administrative office.
Sanchez has carved out a space that will house the Northeast Conference Hall of Fame, which was established in November 2010 as part of the NEC’s 30th anniversary celebration.
Comprised of six members, the inaugural NEC Hall of Fame Class was enshrined this past winter and soon their plaques will be on display for NEC office visitors to admire.
The walls have been painted and the sleek credenza that will occupy the area has arrived.
The next step entails a heavy dose of wall mounting followed by lighting installation.
Soon, the NEC Hall of Fame will have a home.
